Thank you for your feedback. This meter is the type that straps on to the outside of a plumbing pipe. It must be installed in a specific way and location and accuracy can be affected if installation specifications are not met. In addition, the meter has to communicate with your WiFi and then communicate to the App. This can create a lag time. This isn't a high precision instrument. It is appropriate for the home owner that can't plumb a meter inline and just wants an idea of their water use and possible leak indicating. It is not a good choice for billing a tenant or checking the accuracy of a utility meter.
