Strong Wi-Fi for Bluebot

What Is Considered a Strong, Steady Wi-Fi Connection for Bluebot?

As an example, if your water treatment room is about 100 feet from your modem and your phone shows two arcs out of three on the Wi-Fi signal indicator, that’s generally sufficient for your Bluebot Clamp-on Wi-Fi Smart Meter to operate properly.

A simple way to confirm your connection strength is to stand in the same area and open a YouTube video on your phone. If the video loads quickly and plays smoothly, your Wi-Fi connection is strong and steady. If it pauses or buffers, your signal may be too weak for consistent performance.

In that case, consider adding a Wi-Fi extender (also called a range extender). This device connects to your existing Wi-Fi network and rebroadcasts the signal to reach areas farther from your router. A Wi-Fi extender helps eliminate dead zones and improve connectivity in hard-to-reach spots.

For best results, place the extender in a location that still receives a strong signal from your main router; this ensures it can effectively repeat and extend your network coverage.
