Product Description
The WM-C Series 3/4" cold water meter is a multi-jet meter that is built to AWWA specifications and allows for accurate reading of any non-potable water source. It comes standard with 3/4" male NPT couplings and a pulse output wire that can be connected to a number of products allowing for various remote reading capabilities (individual digital display or remote reading systems). The pulse output reed switch does not require any power as it is a dry contact closure. The pulse is set at 10 pulses per gallon which also makes it effective when trying to determine smaller batching applications. If the pulse output wire is not needed, it can just suspend from the meter for future use or can be snipped off.
Since these meters do not meet the latest Federal Lead Free requirements, they are ideal for use as Sewer Deduct Meters, Summer meters or for any irrigation or garden hose applications where the water is not being used as a potable source. It's also effective for HVAC compoanies to use to measure the make up water in a cooling tower.
These meters are good for use with non-potable water up to 122˚F and with a normal flow range of 1-20 GPM. They will measure flow down to 0.25 GPM with accuracy of +/- 3%.
