The WM-NLC Series Lead Free Brass Water Meter uses multiple jets of water against an impeller to accurately measure water flow totals. The meter can be purchased in ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ½”, and 2” NPT connection sizes. Price includes a set of couplings that will give you male NPT threaded connections in the size selected.
• Being produced in an ISO 9001 certified facility assures quality.
• Product meets AWWA C708 Standards
• NSF 372/NSF 61 (Annex G) Certified (The main cases of all sizes are constructed using C87850 low-lead brass alloy.)
The WM-NLC is an ideal product to use for residential water sub metering (including commercial properties with multiple tenants), residential and municipal garden hose metering (with optional garden hose adapters) and even industrial water metering.
• Corrosion-resistant materials are used in all areas of the meter that come in contact with water.
• The body of the meter and the couplings are made with a low-lead brass alloy C87850.
• The only moving part in contact with the water flow is the impeller. This gives the meter a longer life span and also provides consistently reliable performance.
• There is a removable filter located at the inlet of the meter body that allows for cleaning it without having to open the meter.

Horizontal Installation Orientation with the Face Up
Standard Length makes it an effective replacement for Kent C700 and other brand meters.
Once the adapter ends are installed on the upstream and downstream pipes, the meter is installed by tightening the collar nuts onto the inlet and outlet of the meter. These "true-union" fittings then allow the meter to be easily rotated to the proper orientation (face up), or removed for cleaning, repair, or replacement.
These meter threads look practically identical to the NPT adapter threads BUT THEY ARE NOT!
Trying to install the meter without the adapter will damage the pipe's threads, the meter's threads, or BOTH!
CHECK TO ADD OPTIONS:
Pulse Output is needed when you need to connect your meter to a pulse reader in order to read data away from where the meter is installed (see KAL-D06 or T210 for LCD Pulse Read-Out devices). This is perfect for applications where installation location makes it difficult or impossible to read the meter or in the case of multiple properties that need to be read in a common area.
Garden Hose Adapters allow you to connect a 1/2" or 3/4" meter directly to a standard garden hose. Meter must still be face up and we recommend it being placed near the spigot where it will be firmly inline without a lot of movement. While most garden hoses are not considered a potable water source, the garden hose adapters do not meet the new lead free standards.
Check Valve will prevent backflow through the meter. Check valve meets lead free requirements.
*NOTE - Bulk discounts for basic meter only. Not applicable to add-on items like garden hose adapters

Works great to help lower our sewer bill for water used outside of the house in the summer. Customer service was very helpful when I chatted with them. Got me to the correct item, I ordered it on-line (late afternoon) and it shipped the next day.
Meter works well. It is used to troubleshoot leaks in a water well system that provides water to 3 separate buildings. Makes it easy to isolate which system is leaking.
Would recommend to a friend.

I love this water meter. Very solid and well built. I almost bought a cheaper plastic one and I'm so glad I went with this one. I bought it to attach before a new whole house water filter to monitor how much water goes through the filter to know when the filter needs replaced. I prefer to replace the filter based on the gallons it's rated for rather than randomly picking a year to replace it. This meter should do the job for years to come. Quality, solid build - I think it's about 6.5 lbs. (I bought the 1 inch one). Only maintenance will be cleaning a small plastic filter that's in the inlet side. Once yearly I will just take it out and wash out any debris, then put it back in. This should be very simple since the mechanics of the bolts allow you to unscrew/un-attach the meter from the water line very easily with no special tools, tape, etc. (my plumber even set wood blocks under the inlet and outlet sides to allow for easier removal.
I am installing a water filtering/softening system and wanted to track the water going through just this system. This is a beefy, well made water meter that I expect will last a very long time. The Aquasana System I'm installing should last at least 10-12 years, and I am confident that this meter will last and keep me on track to replace the filter system components based upon water flow, and not just on duration of time.
Flows.com had the product shipped the very next day I ordered it, and it arrived in excellent condition. If you are looking for a great meter and good service, look no further than Flows.com.
The meter was just what we needed. It was installed and running perfectly shortly after it was received. Great service.
