The WM-NLC Series Lead Free Brass Water Meter uses multiple jets of water against an impeller to accurately measure water flow totals. The meter can be purchased in ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ½”, and 2” NPT connection sizes.
• Being produced in an ISO 9001 certified facility assures quality.
• Product meets AWWA C708 Standards
• NSF 372/NSF 61 (Annex G) Certified (The main cases of all sizes are constructed using C87850 low-lead brass alloy.)
The WM-NLC is an ideal product to use for residential water sub metering (including commercial properties with multiple tenants), residential and municipal garden hose metering (with optional garden hose adapters) and even industrial water metering.
• Corrosion-resistant materials are used in all areas of the meter that come in contact with water.
• The body of the meter and the couplings are made with a low-lead brass alloy C87850.
• The only moving part in contact with the water flow is the impeller. This gives the meter a longer life span and also provides consistently reliable performance.
• There is a removable filter located at the inlet of the meter body that allows for cleaning it without having to open the meter.

Horizontal Installation Orientation
Standard Length makes it an effective replacement for Kent C700 and other brand meters.
Once the adapter ends are installed on the upstream and downstream pipes, the meter is installed by tightening the collar nuts onto the inlet and outlet of the meter. These "true-union" fittings then allow the meter to be easily rotated to the proper orientation (face up), or removed for cleaning, repair, or replacement.
These meter threads look practically identical to the NPT adapter threads BUT THEY ARE NOT!
Trying to install the meter without the adapter will damage the pipe's threads, the meter's threads, or BOTH!
CHECK TO ADD OPTIONS:
Pulse Output is needed when you need to connect your meter to a pulse reader in order to read data away from where the meter is installed (see KAL-D06 or T210 for LCD Pulse Read-Out devices). This is perfect for applications where installation location makes it difficult or impossible to read the meter or in the case of multiple properties that need to be read in a common area.
Garden Hose Adapters allow you to connect a 1/2" or 3/4" meter directly to a standard garden hose. Meter must still be face up and we recommend it being placed near the spigot where it will be firmly inline without a lot of movement. While most garden hoses are not considered a potable water source, the garden hose adapters do not meet the new lead free standards.
Check Valve will prevent backflow through the meter. Check valve meets lead free requirements.
*NOTE - Bulk discounts for basic meter only. Not applicable to add-on items like garden hose adapters

I needed a gallon water meter to add to a new whole house water filter installation and had mistakenly believed I could easily find one at a Home Depot, Lowe's, or any local plumbing supply store. Not true, and when I couldn't find one anywhere locally, I searched online and found Flows. Not only is the high quality of this lead-free, brass meter truly astonishing, but Flows customer service was beyond my expectations (thank you, Mike). This meter is lead-free, heavy duty, super high quality, and even NSF Certified which adds peace of mind to its use in a drinking water installation. Both my master plumber with 38 years of experience & his assistant plumber repeatedly commented on the superb quality and surprising heft of this meter, and its installation seemed to be a breeze with all of the necessary parts included. The meter arrived very quickly and very well-packaged as well. While the price may seem a little bit high when ordering, once you hold this hefty, high-quality item in your hand, you'll feel like you got real value for your money. Also, the face of the meter is easy to read, even for my middle aged eyes. This brass meter seems to be worth every penny of its price tag & is the perfect addition to my new Aquasana Rhino Whole House Water Filter/Softener. In this case, you truly get what you pay for, and price considered, I truly could not be more pleased with my purchase.
I was doubtful on the type of water meter that I should purchase for my store. It is then, I decided to call flows.com, and spoke to Michelle. Based on the measurements I gave her of the OD of the water meter, she was able to advise the type of the meter we need, along with the appropriate size, that would fit. Also, she confirmed whether the listed meter is available in stock or not. As I placed the order, it was prioritized and shipped to me. The meter that was sent, had all of the required parts to replace the old water meter. Just can't thank Michelle and flows.com for the time and assistance they provided.

This was shipped quickly and it worked perfectly fine!
The product arrived super fast and correct. When I had a small mix up of quantities the customer service team tackled it quick fast and with great professionalism. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Look forward to future business
Easy to install, works great
Worked well with surging flow when solenoid opened to discharge 30 psi water to open drain. Recommended for vertical mounting, but had to alter piping to get face oriented properly (wish face would rotate w/in body for different mounting positions. Well made.
Response from Flows.Com: We're so glad everything is working as expected. Just a note to others that this meter is recommended for horizontal installations. If installed vertically in lower flow (residential) rates or very high flow rates, accuracy can be affected.
Glade I sleep two floors about the basement where this meter is. Too noisy!
Response from Flows.Com: Thanks for your review. The complaint of noise is not one we hear with this meter. It is possible that there is debris stuck in the internal screen that's rubbing against the turbine. We would recommend removing the meter and back flushing it.
